Health and Wellbeing

When I was first pregnant with my first child I read everything I could get my hands on about nutrition and read a series of books by Adele Davis.  Of course, my first pregnancy occurred in the Indian subcontinent, largely and I was away form most of the western packaged food and had to be inventive.  I was.

As a young mother with a growing brood to tend and nurture, I was unable to gad about and around as so many did and my joy was in the groups we gathered around my groaning tables as I fed and fellowshipped with a n assortment of people.  I have tended to collect strays (people far from home and without support) somehow managing to be there just at a critical time and for this I am and have been ever grateful.

That is my 5 second history of interest.

I have trodden the weight loss path at times, and discovered ( usually the hard way) what works and what doesn’t.

I have collected a raft of information and recipes and I am sharing them here.  I no longer hang a diet tag around my eating choices; rather I look at my personal choices as investing in caring for this vehicle my soul wanders this earth in.  I have so much to live for that I want to ensure this machine is in the optimum condition.  I do not believe choosing to eat well and exercise well should be seen in myself or from outside as deprivation.  In fact, the food I cook most of my children and those who have eaten of my fare have never complained nor do they realise just how healthy what I serve is.

  1. Hi, Maggie!

    How’s it going?

You recently left a comment on my post “Will You Take a Stand With Me,” regarding my plan to create a high-quality premium weight loss strategy product (ebook + videos) to be made available for free. The only “string attached” is that you have to help out in some way in order to get this for free. I really hope you’ll join us.

You don’t have to be a “health expert” or healthcare professional.

I believe that everyone has advice or wisdom or some sort of insight to share about how to lose weight successfully. It’s an opportunity to just get involved in something bigger than all of us combined.

I’d love to have you on board with this creation process. It’s not hard. You can put in as much or as little effort as you want (however, the more you put in, the more you’ll get out of this entire experience). If you haven’t signed up already, here’s the link:

This co-creation process will provide you with a great community of supporters to keep you accountable to your weight loss goals and to support and motivate you along your own weight loss journey. Plus, it’ll be a chance for you to interact with, learn from, and work alongside health professionals and experts to create something that will not only make an impact on and benefit you but also an entire community, and, even, the world.

So far, as of this moment, 53 people have already signed up. I’m hoping to get 100 people involved.
Again, here’s the link to sign up to co-create this with me and 50+ other supporters/authors/professionals:

This is really one of those once-in-a-lifetime-type experiences.

    Hope you’ll join us,
    Eric
