“it is only possible to live happily ever after on a day-to-day basis.” Margaret Bonnano

What do you think of that quote?

Sometimes we get so busy doing that we forget about BEING; as in right in this moment, at this moment.

How often have you been absorbed in the NEXT step, NEXT stage, NEXT plan, NEXT creation, and end up going nowhere lost in a whirlwind unable to figure out where to focus and on what to place your energy and thoughts.

The world won’t stop if you take just a moment to lose yourself in the beauty of life itself – before it whistles away again!!!

Background symphony

usual noises

none of them loud

just huming away,

randonly.

Th rustle of leaves dancing in the wind

waving to the clouds flung overhead

Bees, wasps and beetles click and clack

as the occasional birdcall imobilises them.

The heavy whine of compression breaks

carried across from the main truck route north

over there( points) somewhere…

The static crackle and thrum

through the huge electrical cables

bringing the power to light the hungry city

Leaves whispering green growing secrets

to me as I sit here actively thinking, with them

The clacking of stones as I walk over them

complaining, protesting as my shoe

dislogdges a pebbles and carries it along

for a ride
