If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies. – Unknown

This day, today – this morning I am awake and fresh.  In some ways I awoke grateful;

…for the sleep which left me feeling whole and refreshed

…for the sunlight dappling the leaves outside creating a latticework of brilliant light and shade

…for the time spent with those I love yesterday; hearing their joy, sharing hugs and delight

…for catching up with not one person I love but an ever expanding circle

Learn to get in touch with silence within yourself, and know that everything in this life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.

It is Sunday.  Although there is some rushing around required today, it is not nearly as teeth gnashing as expected.

The menu for the week is ready.  I have my shopping list ready.  Gni returns to Year 11 at school.  As does Leonnie.  And I have two whole days with Lizzie who is staying with me.  Lizzie begins school this week so I have taken precious time and she will stay with me.  Oh joy!!!  We have much planned; swimming and floating in Nan’s pool and we shall watch “Tangled” together.  Lizzie at 5, is always a wonderful help with shopping and cooking too.
