Change

Yesterday I walked the shops looking for another book to read.  I had demolished the previous one within two days and enjoyed it and the sequel was not due out here ( in Aus ) until April 2012.

There was nothing appealing on any shelf in either book vendor despite twice walking up and down the aisles.

I came home and picked up my iPad.  Went to iBook and double clicked and lo and behold a virtual bookstore opened before me.  I just checked the sequel to the book I had just finished and it was available as an eBook ( having been released in the States in November.  So I purchased and downloaded it.

All through my life the substance of a thick paperback or hardcover has taken space in my daily handbag and accompanied me during waking and sleeping hours ( often sitting beside me together close on waking.)  This now has changed and I am embracing that change.

Now, I have my much lighter iPad loaded with books I have an interest in and desire to read.
